a review on BREAKFAST!!!!

went to s'pore last weekend. Stayed in the Shangri La hotel... XD

Anywayz, the breakfast there was awesome! the venue where they served breakfast was called The Line. Nice. It was large & spacious & at least 10 times more classy than our local Holiday Inn, Hilton, Damai Resort... etc etc..... put together!

Walking in, or rather, down, [it was located sorta underground, well actualy sea level, the hotel was on a hill u see.... oh bugger. it was like going down to kuching high's school canteen], couldn't help but notice the cool ID. [interior designing lah...] even the sign of the place was a holographic image projected by an inbuilt ceiling projector. how cool is that?

uhm... i'm getting side-tracked. ok, back to the main topic at hand... FOOD!!!!! i'll let the pictures do most of the talking...

ice cream anyone?

haha... gotcha... its actually assorted YOGURT.

sausages galore.

Never saw so many sausages crammed into a plate, eh?

taiwan sausage on an all-you-can-eat-basis. Still the best & favorite variety.

sweet & sour ribs for breakfast, anyone?

personal kolok mee chef.

dim sum

bread. all sorts of bread [like mita or taka or fujishan lidat]

pizzas

custom-made omelettes

japanese breakfast.

cheeses & salads & muesli & preserved fruits

juice[s]

fruit!! [for comparison, the plates were normal steak-sized dinner plates. that's how gigantic the fruit were...]

some lady chef/waitress was even preparing fresh hot pancakes & waffers!

she suggested that i take a picture of this: honey straight from the comb!! [gasp, sigh~]

then a guy's voice from somewhere behind the counter said "take my picture too!" the girl laughed & said that that guy memang like that, & i replied that i was used to it, since most of my friends (nudge nudge, hint hint) also like that. turns out she was from jb. explains the m'sian style of talking. btw, since he said take his picture,
.................................................................................................

i did. (looks like a thinner Denis Choo hoh... compare urself... heehee)

oh, & i also took a photo of the preserved candy on the counter. (yes they're real, and no, they weren't edible anymore.)

& that wraps up my review. Since i was on a diet, i had minimal samplings of everything, & kept my food intake to a bare minimum. I'm proud to say that i ate moderately.

oh who am i kidding? i crammed the food into my mouth like a pig, like beggars in a buffet. i think i gained a few inches because of all those sausages ( around my waist lar.. what were u thinking, u dirty, dirty mind? )
