X-men 3

haha. last night got to catch the premier of the brand new X men 3 movie with some guys [no, anaon wasnt there... lol]

The movie was quite good, altough i have to say that i'm quite disappointed that night-crawler [blue guy, forked tail, can teleport] wasnt in the movie this time. He's kinda cool. so, to make up for the lost of a cool blue guy, they put in a big, furry blue guy... namely.. 'beast', or as wolverine aka logan calls him, furball. lol

Anywayz, like i said, the movie's ok, quite good in fact, 'specially the CGI effects. Now, i must admit that a few parts weren't featured in the comics, & some parts of the storyline were... a tad disappointing [not spoiling the surprise for anyone here...]

Watching the movie itself... now thats the part thats very, VERY sienz-inducing. its all nice & great to bring kids to the movie theather, but in the future, i hope they include duct tape as part of the movie package. Don't get me wrong, i think kids are nice, i think movie theather-reation is good, if u scream at the right places & laugh at the funny ones. But some of these kids... well, they're just plain annoying. They all speak in a voice so loud it can be heard over the zhng noice n sound effects & digital stereo surround sound.
"Pa, who's that blue blue guy?"
"Mum, why is she running?"
"Pa, he very strong issit?"
"Eee... Why are they kissing?"
.............. everyone's a critic nowadays, even tiny toddlers who must blare out their opinions for everyone to hear. haiz.......

Oh, one more thing, according to all the reviews, there's supposed to be a surprise ending hidden in between the credits. to my utmost disappointment though, the #% #%$&^ M'sian cinema cut the credits short... NO~~~~~~~~~~~~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! fun-spoilers.

All in all, the night was something like my friend's cooking [not pointing any fingers here]. overall nicely done, but with some bugs... [not joking, ants to be exact. eew. she jokingly said they were an extra source of protein....]

ok, annoying kids, stupid cinema & disgusting cooking (its a metaphor, duh!) aside, a definate A+ night. Go watch!
