Yeesh...

Its Friday morning, the biology teacher Pn. Mary Hii is wrapping up her lesson on Carbohydrates.
Although the lesson is interesting, i keep staring at the clock , than at my watch... i look at the second hand, at the slowly ticking needle...
My heart is thumping, i'm anxiously counting down now... 3 more minutes, 2... 1.... "wait for it... wait for it.... YES!" The bell rings in oblivion, a signal, a sign that gives me joy. I stand up straight, rehearse with the whole class... "Thank you teacher."
Free Period! I sit down back in my chair, a smile crossing my tired features. I slowly lower my heavy head on the cheap plastic blue table, eyelids dropping, glad & satisfied. I'm now oblivious & ignorant to the world around me, as my head rests in my crossed arms in front on me.
"thump, thump, thump...." a rhythmic sledge hammer-fist is beating on my back, i'm awoken abrubtly. Damn.

"JOASH!!!!" Lemme sleep mah... free period leh....
