Russian Wet Market
Today went to tubistan (turbistan? tupistan? To be stunned? dunno how to spell...) the wet market of Russia... quite big actually, had both an indoor & outdoor selling place.
Everything was sold there, from pig dolls to cabbage, from winter coats to nice pastries, from boots to caviar... quite nice experience for me
One thing that surprised me greatly:: the floor was spotless, even the outdoor portion of the market... thumbs up to the cleanest wet market i've ever seen. & i had fun... (quite surprising eh?) ate a flat piece of bread thingy stuffed with beef & another "sio pao" lookalike stuffed with (surprise, surprise) more beef... & cloves of onions n garlics... Surprisingly tasty, & cheap too... 12 roubles for each.
Let's see now... bought lemons, kiwis, garlic, cabbage, tomatoes, persimmon, spring onions, biscuits....
No photos. sorry...=p
