Break during an exam

Bernard, friend of mine studying in Kursk, is returning to M'sia tomorrow. Lucky bastard. Point is, he dropped in today, the day of my exam, to shop in Moscow before leaving.

This morning, i had to bring him to our hostel, since he'll be staying here the night with his friend, jo-el (from jb, dunno if i spelt his name right... nice guy) so i had to get up like 6, sleepy & cranky to get to the metro station to get them, then get back to the hostel, get to school & take the exam. (lucky the exam turned out to be quite easy)

Anyways after the exams i wanted to bring them to shop at Megamall, connected to Ashan, but ithe end decided to go to Kievskaya, supposedly one of the biggest in-city shopping mall in Europe.

The place was a shopping haven. it was by far the newest & prettiest building i've seen since coming to Russia. it had a sorta "klcc" feel to it. There was a large round fountain that was quite interesting. From the top, it was the face of a clock with large square lights that turn from blue from green to signal every passing hour, minute & second (much like a normal clock, except it had giant square light-up blocks instead of hands.)

Had quite a bargain at a shop there. bought a cap for... *4 x 10*ten ten ten ten*...(joke courtesy of the people from room 12-14)
ok... for.... 59... ROUBLES. thats less than RM10!! Cheap even for M'sian standards. & this was no chow kitt cap. haha. also bought a set of Long Johns (a.k.a. thermal underwear) for less than a total of RM60... very good price for life savers i must say...

All in all, a great way to break of from the rigid routine of exams... (although the sleepy cranky part wasnt so nice...)

pictures coming soon
