Picnic at sportivnaya

*sidenote: now is abt 21.17 hours local Russian time, yet outside its as bright as M'sia 5 smtg... *

warning:: bandwidth sucking photo post, people with low-internet speeds don't blame me, BLAME YOURSELF FOR NOT GOING WITH THE TIMES! hahahaha joking joking... >_<

Today the Malaysian Christian Fellowship organized a picnic/station games/treasure hunt at the sportivnaya park to celebrate the arrival of spring and basically just find an excuse for a gathering of young people LAR~

& since me, as a park-farker, being si-beh-eng (relatively eng compared to other years) had nothing to do, agreed to go, based on 3 very strong reasons::

a) FREE FOOD!
b)socializing with people from other unis
c) FREE FOOD!!!!!

Arriving quite early, we promptly decided to do what young people with too much time & space on their digital cameras did best: camwhore

My hair damn pong (big? fluffy? like cotton candy lar) coz just woke up
me n Sim Poh Ling, the only other Kuching-ian in my group... she from Kuching Town no 1 one, anybody interested? You know what to do. *cough-introduction fee-cough*
me trying to act fierce amongst smiley faces... but end up looking sulk-y
sakura, sakura...
M2 Buddies:: from left, Kimswee, Ruey Ying, Poh Ling, Wendy, Wye Kitt. Behind is Yunn Min & Amy acting cute ("cute" lar "cute" lar)
Li Yuan... the ultimate tree-hugger
Me & Amy (sama size aje... >_<) 3 guys, no girls & a camera

Anyways after that we were introduced to other people from M1...
Then we started the games in our allocated groups, when it started to pour rain... haihz.
We were drenched to the bone, so no pictures of us in action lorrr, after the games it was makan time, by when it had stopped pouring, just a slight drizzle accompanied our face-stuffing session
eat! eat! eat! lets see... egg salad & sardine sandwiches, keropok (lays, cheetos, Tortilla chips) chocolates, chocolate-filled crossaints, biscuits, cheese cakes, banana cakes, apple cakes, coffee cakes, kaya-puffs.... did i leave out anything? =p

After food, we had nothing to do, so... camwhore summore lor (btw congrats to the winners. their prizes were just... more food. lol)

proof that everyone's a camwhore:: our small group photo grew larger,
& larger,
& larger,
until...
(can you find me?)

Anyways after we were done, we decided to walk around the park... it was B-E-A-Utiful~
tulips...

aaa~~ spring is beautiful, i'm... NOT.

BTW, did i mention that the "castle" behind us was actually a century-old-monastery? They were literally dozens of couples getting married that day in that church. Interested & curious, we decided to explore...

putting coins on a slab of granite, dunno why, just did it coz i saw alot of coins scattered on top. haha
typical orthodox-christian structure. Dome with crosses (all that is pure gold btw.)
Eric
Boon Beng (our local Ah Beng)
eric... o_O
Boon Beng... =.=
wtf... =_=||
giler...

Well anyways thats all for today, we had a blardy great time. Met alot of new friends. had alot of fun. Cowabunga! (ninja-turtle fever... >.<)

*update=thanks to the organizers for your hard work & meticulous planning! appreciate it*
