Form 6 first 3 days

Well, Life offically starts again with the beginning of form 6... Everybody's having a ball settling into their own schools... For most highians, its St Thomas, a relatively nicer school compared to SMK Kuching High... (Talking about the building here of course... you'll soon see what i mean...)

Walking into the main building through the front gate, the first thing i noticed (or anyone notices) is the sheer size of the school. Its Majestic Main Building (officially named the ["Principal's House"... No the principal doesn't live here anymore]), It's Manicured Gardens (wonder how much they cost?), Its congested parking lot...

Then the 2nd thing I noticed personally is... the sheer number of 'soft males' walking around... She-males... its the trend at local all-boys schools i guess... with no girls around, they sorta 'evolved' as substitutes... Ugh! Everywhere i turned, there they were, standing in front of the mirrors (yes, mirrors, there was mirrors everywhere: in every hallway, in every stairwell...)

First day of the week was spent sitting in the hall listening to the principals Very Egoistic speech... how we were all very privilaged to be in Kuching's most 'prestigious' form 6 school, how we should be 'honoured' & 'loyal' to the new school, how we should not forget our old school, but adapt to the new school & think ourselves "thomians" instead of Highians, Marians, Kolejjians... Blah Blah Blah... (althou, according to Joash, His speech & presentation was much better than BMS's, & his jokes were comprehensible)...
Then, we played a game to know each other, basically holding hands, forming circles, shaking hands, sociallizing... the teacher giving us instructions beared an uncanny resemblance to Khadi... both in speech & stature... not appearance though... Khadi is slightly older looking...[i mean that in the nicest possible way...]
oh, we also had a personality test... stupid in my opinion... who needs to be told how they are thru means of paper & pen? People who need to base their future on a stupid computer screen presentation shouldn't even BE at form 6.

The 2nd day was spent with us being separated according to our streams. After that, all the subject teachers spent a nice half hour of their own showing us statistics on how ppl who obtained A1 in subjects in SPM mostly failed to in STPM... than they all said the exact same thing: "We arent trying to chase u away, its just that we must tell u the facts..." Yeah, right.

Than they separated us according to gender & had the ol' guy-girl talk.... as if that ever worked. But hey, they will say they tried when blamed... so... the principal was quite funny. Better than BMS, who laughs at his own jokes while we make hand gestures of crows flying overhead...
here's one:

P: "KHS boys shd be ok, coz they're used to co-ed classes, but st thom boys harh, watch out. 1st your pen drop, than your eraser, than your ruler... its too risky, not worth the risk... ask the Ex-highians if you don't believe me"

What the.... LMAO. Priceless.

3rd day, aka today, 17th May, we went to our respective classrooms. i'm in L6S2 with joash & a few other friends, bought the new st. thom. stuff... we have to wear the st thom belt, which is asically a RM2 clothe belt with a sticker... they charged us RM7... no wonder st thom so rich lar
Spent the first period cleaning the class, than lazd around... so unfair, coz L6S1 got Air-cond... but since its not cool enough, i guess we're even.
Tachers came in again, & basically spent their whole periods scaring us again, before repeating wht they said yesterday... blah blah blah. Chemitry teacher had a boring voice while giving his "speech", nodded off, so i couldnt help complaining... or 'whining' as a friend so nicely put it. his teaching was good thou, i have to admit. he gave us a quiz, then called us sponges, coz we

"soak up test books, then pour it all into our exam papers."

Quite accurate.

Conclusion? Form 6 is fun. For the time being. Rules suck though. Will Blog abt it tmr.
